Uromune for Recurrent UTIs

Uromune for recurrent UTIs

Recurrent urinary tract infections are a very common problem. Most women have no obvious cause for these infections, and do everything to try and prevent these happening. For women with frequent recurrent urinary tract infections, there is a new treatment available called Uromune. This is  a vaccine, which boosts the immune response to multiple different bacteria which cause urinary infection, including E. coli, Klebsiella, Enterococcus, and Pseudomonas.

Uromune is safe and has minimal side-effects. It is administered as drops under the tongue, and the course last 3 months. We see good results in women who use Uromune. It can reduce the number of urinary infections, and the number of antibiotic courses required. It can be repeated if necessary.

Uromune is not Pharmac approved, and does have a cost associated with it.
